We overhauled two obsolete Sulzer governors which were manufactured in the early 60s. We had to remanufacture a ballhead assembly and the Bakelite assembly of one of the solenoids.

We designed and built a simple actuator with electronic control to meet a very strict engineering specification for use in a unique environment.

We designed a new electronic governor system consisting of a Woodward 505 control and Woodward CPC-II current to pressure converter. We also designed and built a new driveshaft for the oil pump drive including a phonic wheel with three dual core speed pickups and various blanking plates.

We redesigned a steam turbine control to overcome issues of reliability and safety and provided an electronic actuator drive straight to the steam valve to repace the mechanical hydraulic governor originally in place.

We overhauled two Vickers turbine control valves in addition to a Parsons main turbine electro-hydraulic valve assembly and various safety shutdown trip blocks. This project took place within a routine maintenance plan for this equipment.

We designed and installed a completely new system consisting of a Woodward Peak 150, a Woodward CPC current to pressure converter, Deif Generator Control Package (GPC) units and a HMI package.
